What are Migraines?

A migraine is more than just a “bad headache.” ache in the head. Migraines are a neurological condition associated with painful and incapacitating symptoms. This includes severe head pain, sometimes described as pulsing or throbbing; it is also associated with nausea, vomiting, dizziness or vertigo, visual and sensory disturbances including sensitivity to light and sound. Migraines may last for hours or even days and can be so debilitating the individual must stay in bed. Medication can relieve the frequency and severity of the attacks for some but not all; however medication is also associated with several negative side-effects.

Neurofeedback for Migraines
