What is Teletherapy?
Our clinic also offers teletherapy in addition to neurofeedback. Teletherapy is a remote psychotherapy option which involves meeting with a trained therapist through a live video, or phone connection to talk through different issues and learn new skills. This can help to support and maintain the gains achieved during neurofeedback, and allow for the continuity of care during times in which you are unable to meet with a specialist or doctor. At Chicago Mind Solutions our teletherapy programs utilize secure SSL encryption and our communications are HIPAA compliant.
We have an expert team of psychologists trained in evidenced-based therapeutic interventions to address mental health and concussion symptoms. These different therapeutic interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Cognitive Rehabilitation for stroke and brain injury, Executive Functioning therapy for ADHD, as well as general psychodynamic and supportive therapy.
Benefits of Teletherapy
Teletherapy is mental health treatment delivered online using secure video conferencing.
This can include traditional “talk therapy,” as well as other interventions such as guided relaxation or mindfulness training.
Teletherapy at CMS
Teletherapy can be conducted via video conferencing or phone call, and all you need is your personal computer or cell phone and an internet connection.
We will provide a secure link to log on, and staff is available to address any technical issues.
