Vanessa has previously worked as a school psychologist, where her efforts supported the relationship between mental health, academic achievement, and overall school experience. She focused on strengths-based psychology and resilience training for adolescents, conducting evaluations and data analysis, managing behavioral and academic interventions, and served as an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion programming.

Vanessa enjoys traveling, with her favorite destination spot being Thailand. She also enjoys spending time with loved ones, and creating stained glass art in her free time.
