Elie Saltzman, Psy.D., BCN
Elie Saltzman, Psy.D., BCN is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in children and adolescents. He earned his doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and his Master’s in Vocation Rehabilitation from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Dr. Saltzman has provided services and support to children, adolescents, adults and families in settings such as partial hospitalization programs, residential services, therapeutic day schools, private practices, and outpatient clinics. While completing his fellowship at Lawrence Hall, Dr. Saltzman worked in a residential therapeutic school setting with children and adolescents with PTSD, learning disabilities, and ADHD.
He then completed his post graduate work in a partial hospitalization program/intensive outpatient program where he worked with children and families with anxiety and depression. Dr. Saltzman has focused much of his research and clinical work in the school setting, specifically in the development of anti-bullying programs and techniques. In addition to his work a a psychologist, he is currently the coach of a high school wrestling team in Skokie.
